A new blockchain-based video game and Web3 ecosystem based on the hit TV series Peaky Blinders is currently in development. Anonymous Labs, who have partnered with Banijay Rights — the Peaky Blinders global distributor — to develop the game. The objective of the game is to onboard existing fans of Peaky Blinders to explore the benefits of Web3 through storytelling and gameplay experiences.

The Peaky Blinders television adaptation, for example, attracted an audience of 80 million around the world on platforms including Netflix. Based on the legendary marquee in American muscle cars, the new Web3 game will see fans plunge into riveting high-stakes missions and forge their own Shelby-style legacy. Players will have the opportunity to fully engage with the Peaky Blinders world. They’ll venture into a collaborative, decentralized, open source, multiplayer NFT playground modeled after the gritty streets of 1920s England.

The game will introduce a vibrant blockchain-powered ecosystem. Yet despite the initial announcement, developers still have not provided many concrete details including token mechanics, launch times, and the overall structure of the game’s economy.
