Sonic has partnered with web3 data platform Kaito to integrate social media engagement with on-chain rewards, starting June 18, 2025. This new collaboration will reward users who participate in valuable discussions, furthering awareness and understanding of the Sonic project.
Sonic will use Kaito’s Yapper Leaderboard to monitor and incentivize users whose contributions most benefit the project. This is one area the initiative aims to improve by identifying valuable contributions and then rewarding them to create positive incentives.
Kaito’s inclusion is more than just his cool design though this marks a new turning point for Sonic’s airdrops. These days, the team is keen on rewarding quality content and encouraging community interaction. Kaito will be following every Sonic X Sonic post from X. This is user-friendly, and it helps you locate the users who are most directly influencing the narrative on your project.
1 Users of the platform who produce content that supports the Sonic initiative will be incentivized via $S giveaways. This design is meant to turn off-chain power into real value that can be used in the Sonic ecosystem.
In Season 2 of the $S airdrop, users of Yap can start accumulating Yap points by creating interesting quality content. These criteria will feed directly into their airdrop point allocation. To further show its dedication to engaging American users, Sonic has even rolled out giveaways just for American users.
It’s pretty easy to accrue Sonic rewards by scrolling through X. This ease of use invites a greater number of users to participate in conversations about the project. Through incentivizing quality contributions, Sonic hopes to create a better informed and engaged community to solve transportation challenges.
With Kaito Yaps, we’re giving real weight to the people pushing Sonic forward on social media through insights, research, and quality content that drives awareness. If you’re shaping the narrative, it’s only fair that you should share in the upside. - Michael Kong, Sonic Labs CEO
Kaito and Sonic’s integration is helping to redefine what it looks like for brands to authentically engage with their communities. Through flourishing collaborative creativity, this effort exemplifies the key of engaging and rewarding users that help attract and build awareness of the project.
