Crypto derivatives exchange Bitget has partnered with layer-1 Avalanche blockchain to celebrate the importance of security in crypto trading. Together they hope to increase adoption of Web3 technology across India. This unique partnership not only launches innovative educational programs but offers grants to support early-stage startups. In addition, it funds women-led projects, striving to increase awareness and engagement in the Web3 ecosystem across the country.

Bitget, founded in 2018, is the world’s largest crypto copy trading platform with over 100 million users from more than 150 countries and regions. Beyond the trading and market data, the firm is focused on building specific solutions, such as their copy trading solution. Bitget is committed to providing users with the tools and knowledge to navigate the cryptocurrency market.

This partnership with Avalanche aims to accelerate the growth of Web3 using India’s digital asset ecosystem as a catalyst. The Blockchain4Youth program is one of the central pillars of this initiative. Bitget has committed $10 million across five years to fund it. Through this program, young people will receive scholarships, workshops, and hackathons to tutor them in blockchain technology.

As part of this commitment, Bitget has launched the Blockchain4Her initiative to empower women-led Web3 projects globally. This new program adds to their notable Blockchain4Youth initiative. The business has been working with universities to develop more accessible learning aids and training solutions. This partnership represents another exciting expansion of educational opportunities in the Web3 space.

"Empowering users with the right knowledge is essential to unlocking the full potential of blockchain in India’s digital future. At Bitget, we're committed to bridging this gap through community programs, partnerships with universities, and accessible learning tools." - Jyotsna Hridyani, South Asia Head at Bitget

Bitget’s commitment to the Indian market doesn’t stop with these initiatives. The company has conducted meetup events in Delhi and Bangalore as part of its ‘HODL ON’ tour, engaging with the local crypto community and gathering insights.

Bitget’s mission is to double the number of Indian Web3 startups. By 2025, they plan to have helped 2,000 startups with targeted funding and mentorship pathways. This ambitious goal is a testament to the company’s confidence in the potential of the Indian Web3 ecosystem.

Bitget's global presence is further strengthened through partnerships with organizations such as LALIGA, the World's Top Football League, in Eastern, SEA, and LATAM markets. The company is the global sponsor of Turkish National athletes Buse Tosun Çavuşoğlu, Samet Gümüş and İlkin Aydın.

"India, with its scale and digital depth, has a unique opportunity to shape how Web3 delivers real value — especially across consumer and enterprise applications. At Blockchained India, we’ve always believed that relevance is earned through consistent action — not noise. This is an inflection point. Let’s continue building with those who see long-term value and are committed to shaping what Web3 can truly become for the masses." - Akshay Aggarwal, Co-founder & Leading Contributor, Blockchained India

Bitget and Avalanche are looking forward to working together on new projects and investments over the course of 2025. This partnership demonstrates their deep commitment to creating an ecosystem for Web3 to flourish in India. Together, these efforts aim to drive innovation, nurture education, and promote inclusivity within the burgeoning blockchain ecosystem.
